We didn’t build twenty products.
We built the machine that gives birth to them.

A ~20-year builder running a 40-product AI studio on one shared, self-learning intelligence layer. Codegen is a commodity — a deployed, metered, cross-learning multi-product mesh is the moat a single-product rival can’t replicate. Here are the honest numbers.

At CloviTek, an idea doesn’t get built — it gets born, raised by a swarm of agents, and grown into a product that sells, learns, and gives birth to the next one.

“We built the machine that gives birth to them — and you’re watching it run.”

From $3 to a 17-year platform thesis

An orphan from Ukraine who arrived with three dollars — and has been building the same DNA (wireless data → wireless audio → AI) for nearly two decades. This isn't a first-time founder. It's a fourth-time one.

The real 2009 senior project — built from his actual screenshots. “Conducting Field Surveys on Mobile Devices”: XML-defined forms collected over 3G, in the field, into a database — SurveyMonkey before SurveyMonkey. See the full 20-year track record →

THE SPARK

“I would mute my TV and continue watching under the bed cover without disturbing others who were sleeping.” — a teenage orphan in Ukraine. The exact problem CloviFi would later solve.

THE GRIT

Raised money caroling door-to-door — “Carol of the Bells” — to buy that TV. “You can fail and still succeed doing something you are passionate about.”

THE MISS

2009: shipped survey-collection software before SurveyMonkey was big. “I didn’t have anyone to guide me how to create a business from such a useful tool.”

THE THESIS

“I wish I had all that knowledge about starting and running the business, IP protections, finances earlier.” That regret is the product CloviTek is now building.

Built bottom-up from real per-product unit economics — not a hockey stick. Every figure here is PROJECTED and shown as a range; revenue today is $0, stated plainly. We model demand product-by-product (price × adoption × ~84.6% blended margin), then sum.

Real skin in the game.

Every dollar below is the founder’s own money, provenance-tagged — MEASURED from a receipt, or ESTIMATED and labeled as such. No invented figures. The largest bucket is the “AI-learning era”: 179 tools bought to learn the craft before building the fleet.

Dark-theme, provenance-color-coded bar chart of founder bootstrapping spend: AppSumo lifetime deals measured at about $32,509 across 179 deals (the largest bucket); Anthropic API estimated at roughly $30,000 for 2026; other SaaS and hosting; and CloviFi-era tooling — for an order-of-magnitude total near $70,000.

What it took to build — then vs now.

The founder already built a hardware company once. CloviFi — CES 2018 Innovation Award Honoree — took ~7 years, three dev teams, and a documented ~$175K before it ran out of funding and was dissolved in 2022. The same founder now ships a product in about a day. That compression is the thesis.

The moat — and it’s real.

The single most defensible element is the self-improving connected intelligence layered on a running, metered capability mesh. Two flywheels turn in opposite directions.

A connected mesh, not one app

A deployed, metered, cross-learning multi-product mesh is what a single-product rival cannot copy — they have no siblings to compound across.

Build cost asymptotes down

Toward ~$1.85/app (40–60% below generate-from-zero) via shared CloviDOS / CloviCore + a prompt-cached catalog. Projected unit economics.

The moat compounds up

Bigger owned library + connected intelligence + studio reputation. At 50–100 products the constraint inverts from “can we build it?” to “can we sell + support it honestly at cadence?”

Non-dilutive lead channel

AppSumo LTD: CAC is rev-share not cash, the audience is our exact persona, and capped monthly-renewing credits keep it survivable (a prior unlimited plan lost ~$235/mo on one user — fixed).

What's actually built — and dogfooded.

The moat isn't a slide; it's running capability. These are the live, dogfoodable products and agents — this very page was built with them: art by CloviImage, the a11y widget by CloviAble, tracked by CloviTrack. Tap a card to expand. Every item is honesty-tagged.

Checking live status…
Dogfood proof: we don't demo capabilities we haven't shipped — we build our own pages with them. LIVE = working now · BACKEND = running, launch-pending · PLANNED = designed.

Honesty is the edge. No theater.

The Shark-Tank rule: be straight, or they smell it. Our “real today vs. frontier” ledger is the credibility weapon — shown proudly, not buried.

The fundable asset is velocity + an owned ecosystem + a compounding moat — explicitly not fabricated traction. We sell the dream defensibly and show the frontier on purpose.

Invest in the builder.

Sharks invest in the founder + the vision they can trust. This is not a first-time founder with a deck — it’s a relentless operator with a provable, ~20-year, award-winning track record who ships real products and refuses to over-claim.

Vitaly Kirkpatrick (also publicly Vitaliy Mahidov)

Ukrainian immigrant who arrived in 2005 to chase the American Dream. Shipped his first product as a student in 2009, built and incorporated a CES-honored WiFi-audio company, and now runs a 40-product AI studio. The same platform DNA — SaaS, data, API/SDK, CRM — for two decades. A published memoir documents the origin story first-hand.

CES 2018 Innovations Honoree 2018 Commercial Integrator BEST Award 2017 Vernadsky Challenge honored 2009 First shipped product 2021 Published author ~$70K bootstrapped

A clear, defensible ask.

We have a game plan for the money. The capability and composition layers are real and running; the raise funds exactly the two honest frontiers and the cadence to sell what we build — at a stage where you’re catching a self-accelerating engine early.

Close the codegen frontier

Move CloviCode from scaffold-only toward reliable net-new generation — the make-or-break last mile.

Cross the mobile / store gap

App-store submission, native IAP and review path (Capacitor/PWA near-term → Expo/RN), where the real gap is the store, not the code.

Launch + sell at cadence

Turn launch-ready products into revenue: AppSumo launches, billing rollout beyond the first product, honest support at scale.

Harden the mesh

Status-gate and contract the ~⅔ of capability blocks still being hardened — turning the mesh from “mostly real” to uniformly production-grade.

Honest framing: pre-revenue, billing live on one product, the codegen and mobile frontiers explicitly open. What’s for sale is the velocity, the owned compounding ecosystem, and a ~20-year builder who under-claims and over-delivers. Specific round size and terms shared directly in conversation.
