CloviTek didn’t appear in 2026 — it evolved. From a Ukrainian orphan arriving in 2005 to chase the American Dream, to a CES-honored WiFi-audio hardware company, to a 40-product AI studio. Same builder. Same platform DNA. ~20 years.
Every entry is dated and tagged for precision — exact (from a record) or approx (reconstructed). 605 entries in the full archive; the milestones are below.
A Ukrainian orphan who aged out of the orphanage came to the US with no business experience — and couldn’t stop building. The first idea was survey software, years before web surveys went mainstream. By 2009 it was a real, shipped product.
Founder arrives in the US (Ukrainian orphan, aged out of the orphanage) to build the American Dream. First idea — survey software, Qualtrics-style, before web surveys went mainstream.
First shipped product — “Conducting Field Surveys using .NET Compact Framework on Mobile Devices,” a Utah Valley University capstone (CS4670): a complete mobile survey platform (Windows Mobile / HTC Touch Diamond, .NET CF 3.5, server + SQL DB + XML survey definitions + SOAP/WCF web services; paperless real-time data over 3G). A mobile Qualtrics — built as a student.
Watch the 2009 product — rebuilt from the real screenshots: login → XML-defined survey → collect in the field over 3G → web service → SQL database → web portal.

The concept: let people privately listen to muted public TVs over existing WiFi with their own headphones — with assistive listening for the 360M+ people with hearing loss as the wedge. Sold first under the white-label brand “Audio Everywhere,” then as CloviFi. Demand was tested before the product was built.

CloviFi concept: private WiFi audio for muted public TVs + assistive listening for hearing loss.
Founder earns an MBA from the David Eccles School of Business, University of Utah — the business foundation behind the company.
Active Facebook lead-gen marketing for “Wireless Audio” pages (a real demand test before building).
CloviTek LLC business plan created — the first formal business plan for the venture.
CloviFi listed publicly on PitchWall (founder Vitaliy Mahidov, Salt Lake City UT) — mild-to-moderate hearing-loss positioning.
Honored at the Vernadsky Challenge for the audio transmitter.
Kickstarter campaign launched for the CloviFi wireless audio transmitter (planned market launch Oct 2017).
Crowdfunding result, reported honestly: ~$9,593 pledged, ~38% funded. A partial raise — the campaign and PR machine were real even where the goal wasn’t hit.
The product won recognition from independent industry judges. And the 2018 business deck is the pivotal artifact: it wasn’t just a hardware pitch — it laid out a full cloud SaaS platform (targeted ads, analytics, CRM integration, a public API and an enterprise SDK; “data is the new gold”). That is the seed of CloviTek-AI, eight years early.

Business presentation deck created — the CloviFi pitch + targeted-ad/SaaS platform + Silver ($9.99/mo) / Gold ($19.99/mo) pricing on a $199 device. The SaaS/data/API/SDK vision that became CloviTek-AI.
CES 2018 Innovations Award Honoree — CloviFi, High-Performance Home Audio & Video category.
Won the Commercial Integrator 2018 BEST Award (Audio Distribution Systems) for CloviFi at InfoComm 2018 — independent industry recognition of a working, competitive product.
Pitched CloviTek at KyivHub (Kyiv) — two pitch decks with speaker notes.

CloviTek Inc operating as an incorporated company (2019 Form 1120 + Utah tax return); Salt Lake City, UT. A real, tax-filing entity — not a side project.
Not abandonware. The company filed taxes, maintained device software and docs, ran competitive analysis and PR — and the founder published a memoir that documents the relentless-builder origin story first-hand.

CloviTek Inc 2020 tax returns filed — the company operating with real revenue and expenses.
Founder becomes a published author — “VITALY: The Misadventures of a Ukrainian Orphan” (memoir, with Linda Forrest; reviewed by Readers’ Favorite). The same-builder origin story in his own words — not a marketing invention.
Product docs + device software maintained: Connection Manual, How-it-works, Install Guides v6/v7, node-wifi 2021 — a living, supported product.
Competitive Analysis & Marketing Strategy for CloviTek Inc (KPI: 15% lead increase over 2019); competitors ListenTech / Tunity / AudioFetch; PR submission via Moore Media Relations.
The “relentless builder / American Dream” arc isn’t a pitch — it’s a published, independently-reviewed memoir: VITALY — The Misadventures of a Ukrainian Orphan (Vitaly Magidov). Orphanage in Ukraine, aging out, coming to the US in 2005 to build a new life. The through-line behind everything CloviTek does today — in the founder’s own words.
The same founder, the same platform DNA — SaaS, cloud, data, API/SDK, CRM, analytics, subscription monetization — generalized and powered by modern AI. From one connected hardware+software product into an AI product studio building 40+ connected, self-improving products. The company evolved the same way its products evolve now.

Joined AppSumo Plus — began bootstrapping the owned software tool-stack: ~179 lifetime deals, ~$32.5K cash-in over three years (MEASURED-derived). The “AI-learning era” — buying tools to learn the craft before building the fleet.
Vital Webmaster LLC books (filed P&L): $13,842.65 software + subscriptions, a documented net loss of −$15,819.56 — the LLC running at a loss while the founder funded tooling personally. Bootstrapping, on paper.
CloviTek AI Studio — ~40 distinct Clovi* products, 61 services online (Grade A), a 224-item learned-intelligence corpus, 240 apps + services in the registry. The 2018 deck’s “cloud platform + API + SDK + data” thesis, generalized and running. Pre-revenue, stated plainly.
The same architecture pattern, twice — eight years apart.
| DNA element | CloviFi era (2015–2022) | CloviTek AI studio (2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud platform | Centralized cloud ad/content portal | Product Intelligence Layer + per-product cloud apps |
| Subscription SaaS | Silver $9.99 / Gold $19.99 per month | Per-product Free → Pro → Agency → Enterprise |
| Data as the asset | “Data is the new gold” — name/email/geo/behavior | RAG/KB ecosystem brain + per-product knowledge |
| API + SDK | Public API + enterprise SDK | Per-product REST APIs + unified gateway |
| CRM integration | Email / FB ID / MAC / cookie → CRM matching | CloviLeads + fleet CRM/lead tooling |
| Accessibility wedge | Hearing-loss assistive listening | CloviAble — honest web accessibility |
Honest caveats: the only public crowdfunding figure is ~$9,593 / ~38% funded (a partial raise — no large round implied). No verified historical revenue figures are claimed. The founder appears publicly as both Vitaly Kirkpatrick and Vitaliy Mahidov — same person, name variants.
