Twenty years of
relentless building.

CloviTek didn’t appear in 2026 — it evolved. From a Ukrainian orphan arriving in 2005 to chase the American Dream, to a CES-honored WiFi-audio hardware company, to a 40-product AI studio. Same builder. Same platform DNA. ~20 years.

2005–2009The American Dream & the first product

A Ukrainian orphan who aged out of the orphanage came to the US with no business experience — and couldn’t stop building. The first idea was survey software, years before web surveys went mainstream. By 2009 it was a real, shipped product.

2005 approx

Founder arrives in the US (Ukrainian orphan, aged out of the orphanage) to build the American Dream. First idea — survey software, Qualtrics-style, before web surveys went mainstream.

2009 exact First shipped

First shipped product — “Conducting Field Surveys using .NET Compact Framework on Mobile Devices,” a Utah Valley University capstone (CS4670): a complete mobile survey platform (Windows Mobile / HTC Touch Diamond, .NET CF 3.5, server + SQL DB + XML survey definitions + SOAP/WCF web services; paperless real-time data over 3G). A mobile Qualtrics — built as a student.

Watch the 2009 product — rebuilt from the real screenshots: login → XML-defined survey → collect in the field over 3G → web service → SQL database → web portal.

2015–2017CloviFi — idea, validation & the crowd

The concept: let people privately listen to muted public TVs over existing WiFi with their own headphones — with assistive listening for the 360M+ people with hearing loss as the wedge. Sold first under the white-label brand “Audio Everywhere,” then as CloviFi. Demand was tested before the product was built.

2018–2019Awards, the platform vision & an incorporated company

The product won recognition from independent industry judges. And the 2018 business deck is the pivotal artifact: it wasn’t just a hardware pitch — it laid out a full cloud SaaS platform (targeted ads, analytics, CRM integration, a public API and an enterprise SDK; “data is the new gold”). That is the seed of CloviTek-AI, eight years early.

2023–2026The evolution — CloviTek AI Studio

The same founder, the same platform DNA — SaaS, cloud, data, API/SDK, CRM, analytics, subscription monetization — generalized and powered by modern AI. From one connected hardware+software product into an AI product studio building 40+ connected, self-improving products. The company evolved the same way its products evolve now.

A dark-theme, provenance-color-coded bar chart of founder bootstrapping spend: AppSumo measured ~$32.5K, Anthropic API estimated ~$30K, other SaaS, CloviFi-era tools.
Bootstrapping, in real numbers — ~$70K of the founder’s own money, provenance-tagged.
2023 approx The learning era

Joined AppSumo Plus — began bootstrapping the owned software tool-stack: ~179 lifetime deals, ~$32.5K cash-in over three years (MEASURED-derived). The “AI-learning era” — buying tools to learn the craft before building the fleet.

2025 exact Skin in the game

Vital Webmaster LLC books (filed P&L): $13,842.65 software + subscriptions, a documented net loss of −$15,819.56 — the LLC running at a loss while the founder funded tooling personally. Bootstrapping, on paper.

2026 exact The fleet

CloviTek AI Studio — ~40 distinct Clovi* products, 61 services online (Grade A), a 224-item learned-intelligence corpus, 240 apps + services in the registry. The 2018 deck’s “cloud platform + API + SDK + data” thesis, generalized and running. Pre-revenue, stated plainly.

Honest caveats: the only public crowdfunding figure is ~$9,593 / ~38% funded (a partial raise — no large round implied). No verified historical revenue figures are claimed. The founder appears publicly as both Vitaly Kirkpatrick and Vitaliy Mahidov — same person, name variants.

Same builder. New machine.

Twenty years of conceiving, shipping, marketing and incorporating real products led here — to a factory that builds them.
